Mukhia Sardarni Sahiba Guru Raj Kaur Khalsa has devoted her life to serving Dharma and to the upliftment of consciousness. As one of Yogi Bhajan’s early students, she brought Kundalini Yoga to beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada in the early 1970s and continues to serve the vibrant 3HO community there through Yoga West, a thriving spiritual community centre. As a Senior Lead Trainer she conducts programs in the Vancouver area, and travels as a guest Teacher worldwide. Specialty: Sound & Mantra! She is in the first wave of Trainers who have become KRI certified as Level Three Teachers, and carries that consciousness with humility, grace, and enthusiasm. Guru Raj Kaur serves on the Sikh Dharma International Board, served for the first few years on the Siri Singh Sahib Corporation Board of Trustees. She also serves in the KRITTEC (KRI Teacher Training Executive Council) from it’s inception, and was the editor/compiler/creator of the KRI Aquarian Teacher Training Manual. Married to Hari Singh Khalsa, they have two daughters: Ong Kar Kaur and Nirinjan Kaur (yes, the gurbani artist!), and (what a joy!) grandson Gobind Singh!
“Sadhana is the core of any life that is considered a spiritual journey. It is the most selfish / selfless use of one’s time and prone in this life. It serves you and your destiny, and gives you the ability to serve others. What a deal!”
